Comprising: a necklace, the front decorated with antique silver Athenian Tetradrachm coins, on a hammered gold curb-link chain, length approximately 410mm, numbered, case stamped Zolotas; and a pair of hammered gold ear clips; each signed Zolotas.
Condition Report:
Each signed ZOLOTAS in Greek lettering. Necklace numbered 916 on the tongue end of the clasp, stamped fa24 in Greek lettering and K22 for 22 carat gold. Hinged backs of ear clips stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Reverse of the coins stamped AOE. Minor tarnish only visible upon close inspection, light scratching to the metal consistent with normal wear. In good condition. Width of necklace approximately 25mm, ear clips measuring approximately 25 x 15mm. Clasp does not fully engage on necklace, security clasp is needed to remain secure. Total gross weight approximately 298 grams. Necklace accompanied by a case stamped la chrysothèque ZOLOTAS.
