An abstract figural city landscape painted in a heavy impasto palette depicting an Old Town, Jerusalem street scene with a profusion of figures, architectural elements, and other forms. Artist signed to lower left with additional letters, possibly Hebrew script, to lower right. Stretcher has impressed GRUMBACHER ARTISTS MATERIALS mark to back. Presented with a fabric fillet border in a carved and gilded gallery frame.
