Two Albarelli with Portrait of a Man : Caltagirone, mid of the 18th century. Slender cylindrical form with indented walls; the decoration covering the entire surface, on the front an oval medallion with a portrait of a gentleman in profile, on the back a large flower stem. White-ground glazed majolica with painting in blue, yellow, green and manganese. H. 19,5 cm. - Signs of age with cracks and smaller chips. // Zwei Albarelli mit Maennerbildnis : Caltagirone, M. 18. Jh. : Schlanke Zylinderform mit eingezogener Wandung; flaechendeckender Dekor, schauseitig Ovalmedaillon mit Herrnbildnis im Profil, verso grosser Bluetenstaengel. Weissgrundig glasierte Majolika mit Bemalung in Blau, Gelb, Gruen und Mangan. H. 19,5 cm. - Altersspuren mit Spruengen und kleineren Bestossungen.
