a Group of Seleukid Tetradrachms (4): i) Antiochos I Soter (323-261 BC), Seleukia-on-the-Tigris, diademed head right, rev. BASILEOS ANTIOXOY, Apollo seated left on omphalos, holding arrow in his right hand and resting his left on grounded bow; to outer left and right, monogram, 16.95g (SC 379.6a), light porosity, patchy toning to reverse, about fine; Antiochos III, 'the Great' (223-187 BC), (3): ii) Nisbis, as before, 16.88g (SC 1128.3a), nice portrait, cleaned and softened, fine; iii) DI mint, as before, rev. DI in exergue, 17.05g (SC 1113.1), handsome portrait from slightly worn dies, reverse beaten and worn, lightly porous, overall a near fine to fine; iv) another, Antioch-on-the-Orontes, 16.89g (SC 1043.3), unforuntate cleaning marks and deposits of silver polish, otherwise well-centred on a large flan, fine; (4).
