This beautiful miniature watercolor portrait of a New England gentlemen measures 2.25" x 2", and has been placed in an oval frame for the overall size of 2.75" x 2.5". It is accompanied by a metal hoop for hanging purposes, with a blue cloth backing. The portrait of the man is dressed in a brown suit in a powdered wig. The colors are still bright, with the detailed brass colored frame adding to the overall look of the piece. A few marks on the back, with minor foxing to picture and in overall excellent condition.
