Antique Silver-Plated Double Inkwell Desk Standish, c. 1890–1910: This beautiful, complete late Victorian or Edwardian era double inkwell set is rendered in the elegant Neoclassical / Louis XVI Revival style, making it a perfect statement piece for any traditional office, library, or writing desk. The substantial silver-plated stand features twin domed inkwell holders with fluted lid interiors, a central lidded stamp box, a built-in pen rest tray, and a crisply detailed laurel wreath and ribbon bow handle. Crucially, the set retains both of its original, removable clear molded glass inserts entirely intact—a rare and highly desirable find for collectors. Structurally sound with tight hinges, the piece shows a beautiful, honest antique patina with natural tarnish on the underside and minor silver "bleeding" on the raised details of the brass base metal.
