c1902 WM Hutton & Sons Large Silver Plated Spirit Kettle

A very fine quality Sheffield silver plated large spirit kettle in very good condition.
The kettle has the half body twisted gadroon decoration in the Georgian style. It consists of a teapot, with ebony handle and finial, which attaches to the pedestal by means of 2 pins. Underneath is a spirit burner. The kettle is made by the renowned silversmith William Hutton & Sons of London, Birmingham and Sheffield. The base is well stamped with the maker's marks and a Registration number that dates it to around 1902. This is also confirmed by the crossed arrows logo, which was adopted about that time.
The plating is in reasonable to good condition with a bit of wear to the highlights. Two little chains which hold the retaining keys are missing.
