c1920 German Glass Cased Drum Barograph

A nice quality c1920 German Cased Barograph in good working condition.
The barograph must be quite rare as an extensive trawl of related websites has not come with any similar examples, although Soviet era barographs appear to be inspired by the design.
The barograph is the normal set up of a rotating drum and a 4 ring vacuum stack which distorts with the fluctuations of air pressure. This is connected an articulated arm to a rotating drum which holds the barograph chart. The vacuum stack is unusually placed under the cradle for the swinging arm. The cradle is marked O.B. within an oval and numbered 11504. The gilded brass plinth is bolted onto a brass frame. The cover is solely built of glued glass, without any metal or wood. It was stencilled DRP 1 on the side, but this was rubbed off when cleaning by one of our over eager shop helpers.
The barograph comes with an ink bottle, a small ink funnel, a winding key and a brass rod.
