A pair of beautiful and rare two-light altar candlesticks, made of hand-sculpted and gilded wood, with original patina, minimal traces of later restorations. The moulded base is painted in light blue and lapis lazuli blue. Dating: first half of the 18th century. In good overall condition, with signs of ageing and traces of candle wax that have not been removed. Measurements: base 44 x 7 cm, height 22. 5 cm Coming from Sicily, Italy.
