My Avatar, a shapeless, polymorphic humanoid, who breathes the air of the times and blow it on my canvas” Born in La Rochelle, on the French west coast, Pascale recently moved to South Portugal in Algarve for the love of the country and its inhabitants. Graduated in Biology then Graphic designer during 20 years in France, Pascale needed to have some fresh air. She decided to paint her own fantasies. She always begins a canvas by covering it entirely with black colour as a way to bring life into darkness. Fascinated by her internal feelings, she draws as a therapy. As she says: “Phobias, neurosis, obsessions…I’m not in rest. When they cross my mind to escape at the end of my brushes, when they leave my arm to invade the painting to come back right into my face, it’s the best therapy I’ve ever known to live happy”.
