handbag (1) - Silver - Netherlands - Second half 19th century
My great grandmother’s handbag from circa 1880 is still in good condition. The exterior of the bag is made of a metallic material (silver?) , with a fabric inner bag. Near the clasp are silver marks in 3 openings: 20 20 81 or something. The bracket is in excellent condition and the hinge and clasp still function well!
