Japanese Meiji period sterling silver three-piece tea service consisting of a lidded teapot, lidded sugar vessel, creamer, and sugar tongs all decorated in high relief with an Art Nouveau iris pattern on a fine hand-hammered stippled ground. Iris flower finials to the lids. The bases of all three pieces are marked in English "Arthur & Bond. Yokohama. Sterling." Circa 1900.

Measurements:
Lidded teapot 8 3/4" high to top of handle (5 1/2" high to top of finial) x 6 3/4" across, 538 gram (1 lb. 3 oz.); lidded sugar vessel 4 1/4" high x 5 3/4" across, 249 gram (8 3/4 oz); creamer 2 3/4" high x 5 5/8" across, 142 gram (5 oz.)

Condition:
Very good overall condition. There are a few imperfections to the foot rim of the creamer. The handle on the teapot does not stand up on its own.
