each with a few small dark spots, burst glaze bubbles, glaze flakes or frits on the lip, each with some scattered wear, including abrasions or scuffs in the glaze; one with crazing to the glaze and glaze cracks, with a few old chips on the foot and with the glaze reduced on the base or the exterior edge of the foot, and with a pattern of bubbles in the glaze; the other vase with a diagonal vertical hairline crack in the body approx. 4 1/2 inches long and with two shallow nicks in the glaze, each approx. 1/16 inch in diameter, on the body of the vessel just below the shoulder; one stand with a split in the wood on the carving in between the feet
