one cover with a curving glaze crack running 2 inches up from the rim and 1 7/8 inches across the shoulder, the other cover with a shallow chip, a few small hairline cracks on the interior lip and a segmented firing flaw on the interior lip; one jar with a brown spot in the glaze, the brown spot with a small glaze crack and a minute aperture 1/16 inch in diameter; the other jar with a shallow chip on the lip 3/16 inch long and with a burst glaze bubble on the lip 1/16 inch in diameter and with a small brown spot in the glaze on the shoulder 1/16 inch in diameter; each stand repaired, and one with the foot detached
