Fred Leach studied at the Butler Institute of Art and the Cleveland Institute of Art. Member and Dolphin Fellow of the American Watercolor Society [won many AWS and OWS awards, including the AWS Bronze, High Winds Medals, and the OWS Silver Medal] Exhibited with a select group of AWS members in the Mexico Olympic Games of 1968. He was elected to the Watercolor USA Honor Society in 1985 where his work was chosen for the Watercolor USA Permanent Collection in Springfield, Missouri. Other collections include the Butler Institute, the OWS Permanent Collection, Cleveland Museum of Art, and the Frye Museum in Seattle.

Larger painting corner creased and corner pin holes.
