An 18th century wooden sculpture. Possibly a somewhat earlier period given the design face / hairstyle. Has obtained significant wood cracks over time and misses a front piece of the left foot, and on the right lower wing a tip. Underneath woodworm infestation and holes in various places. No more active woodworm present. The carving shows the hand of a skilled artist. The transport/shipping will be done in a very careful manner. Otherwise, the woodwork is in an original condition, with no additional colours / other additions. Beautiful look of a beautiful dark wood-coloured sculpture from the early 18th century.
