Traditional Chinese communist tricycle/cargo bike. I've put in a new axle so that western pedals can be used, the cargo bike now has the new pedals, as can be seen in the photos. The cargo bike is in good condition for a cargo bike from that time (it was stored in a garage by a collector for a long time, after which it was stored for a few years at my place) . The bike has a length of 2. 20 metres, measured from the front of the wheel to the back of the bin. The bike has a height of 1 metre, measured from the ground to the top of the saddle. The bike is approx. between 80 cm and 1 metres (I forgot to measure this, but it could still be done) . The bike has a bell with a loud 'kluoeeng! ' sound when pressed and a 'gluoeeng! ' sound when released. Which combined create a jolly 'kluoeeng-gluoeeng' sound. It measures 84 cm from the axle of the back wheel to the axle of the pedals. It has a slightly worn brake-block, but a new one can be mounted on easily. Braking is achieved by pulling the beam between your legs towards you. It still has all of the labels and paintings. All photos are up-to-date, except for those featuring people. The photos with people are intended to give an impression of practical and traditional use of this type of bicycle. Currently, the bike is located in my bicycle shed at the 'Zoetestraat 17 rood'.
