Magnificent pair of large highly decorated Royal Vienna style porcelain lamps with large finely painted reserves on the front from full-length portraits, depicting scenes of neoclassical beauties. The porcelain glazes are brilliant embellished with intertwined leaves, bands of raised gold floral motifs that wrap each lamp on a rich red porcelain ground. One of the fabulous elements of the pair are the bases, decorated in gold with individual scenes on four sides.
The paintings on these lamps are museum quality and are hand signed by artist Kauffman. These magnificent porcelain masterpieces are very popular and sought after, today as in the past. They are extremely collectible thanks to their incredible detailed artwork.
Condition report: The lamp on the left is in very good condition with normal signs of age. The lamp on the right has a restoration on the left side handle (see photo number 12) . They both work perfectly. Hallmarked under the base and signed on the front paintings Kauffman.
