"'t Hof te Pul". Castle of 's-Gravenwezel. 19th c Embossed copper bas-relief, 17 x 23 cm. Contemp. carved wooden frame in the form of a cartouche decorated with a lion's head (some sm. pieces missing, one of them preserved). Remarkable work very faithfully reproducing, including the coat of arms, the engraved view published in the "Castella & praetoria nobilium Brabantiae" of Jacques Le Roy (1694). Joined: Coat of arms van Male and van der Noot in relief. [19th c.]. Bronze, 7,5 x 8 cm, mounting hole at the top. Crowned coat of arms with motto "nec male custodiunt". Knight Josse van Male de Ghorain (1803-1886), provincial inspector of primary education in Brabant, married his second wife Countess Fanny van der Noot on 17 November 1869. Ref. EPN 1993. (2 pcs)
