Tabriz Haji Jalili masterpiece, traditional Persian Tabriz Haji Jalili antique carpets: The Haji Jalili name is at times associated with some of the most beautiful Tabriz carpet from the late 19th century. From the city of Marand, approximately 40 km north west of Tabriz, Haji Jalili laboratories produced small quantities of hanging carpets. These carpets inspired other knotters, at the start of the 20th centuries, but their carpets were of inferior quality.
