Moderate foxing on tissue guards and some scattered elsewhere. Minor offsetting and age-toning. Color plates clean and attractive as are the maps and charts. All edges gilt. Marbled endpapers. INSCRIBED (as "the "Author") on half-title to the author's mother ("Lady Helen Hall from her affectionate Son, The Author").
