Botterweg Auctions Amsterdam presents the Autumn Auction on 26, 27 & 28 October.
The sale features a diverse selection of Design, Modern Art and Contemporary Art, tableware, glassware, classic furniture, jewellery, books, clocks, silverware, carpets & rugs and collectables.
Among the highlights are a white-glazed porcelain elephant designed by Johan Coenraad Altorf in 1911, a red-glass Unica vase designed by A.D. Copier in 1927, and Gerrit Rietveld’s iconic Red Blue Chair, executed around 1975. The fine art selection features artworks by Lou Loeber, Leo Gestel and Wilhelmine Carbin-Gips.
