in the manner of Thomas Chippendale, with fret carved canted corners.
Height 31 3/4 x width 33 x 21 inches.

The chest is stable and in overall good condition. The top surface has old scratch marks and water stains, commensurate with age. The hardware has been replaced and the piece was likely revarnished in the early 20th century. Both side panels have stress cracks with some filling and there is wear and rubbing to the feet. Area around keyholes slightly discolored and minor filled areas to old repairs on drawer fronts. Again, these are all conditions commensurate with age.
