A George III mahogany chest of drawers, circa 1780, of serpentine fronted outline, with two short and two long drawers, 85cm high, 111cm wide, 61cm deepCondition Report: There are some marks, scratches, chips, splits, abrasions consistent with age and use, some to the extremities and edges.Some sections of replacement and losses including an edge moulding to a front corner and to the corners of some of the drawers.No key present, the locks are open. Two of the handles have replacement drop handle sections.Splits to the sides; the backboards with splits and some movement.Sun faded with some marks and filled indentations that have not faded; shadowing of old escutcheons and fixing marks are visible.Please refer to the additional images for a visual reference of condition.
