mid-19th century, probably the work of Charles Stanislas Matifat, the palm-tree-molded standard and branches decorated with a dragon and a grapevine, the base with grapes, pears, walnuts and a turtle, raised on a pierced bronze base with delicately molded scroll- and rocaille work.

Condition Report: **In overall very good condition. One bronze mount on the stem is lacking a screw and is loose. Bronze elements have some light accretions and oxidation - as is to be expected with age, material and use.
