Circa 1720
possibly a teapot stand, painted with a medallion of a peacock perched on stylized rockwork among flowering branches, with a small insect above, with a dentil border at the rim, raised upon three scrolling feet picked out in blue foliate crolls
Diamter 5 1/8 in.
Condition Report:
Overall in good appearance.
Some typical glaze loss, as visible in the lot illustrations. Three shallow slither chips to top edge of rim, the largest, located at 7 o'clock measures approximately 1.5 cm wide. Some abrasion to underside of pad feet.
