AN UNGLAZED STONEWARE JAR, SOUTH ASIA

baluster form, with two conforming handles, the body unglazed revealing the natural stoneware, sits on a slim rounded foot rim, bearing a thick rolled rim on a squat neck; height: 46 cm (18 1/8 in.)

CONDITION
The jar appears in good condition. A large chip resulting in loss to the neck, measuring 4 cm (1 1/2 in.) in length. Unevenness in texture and variation in color, all endemic with age and origin. With no significant issues to report otherwise. Inspection under UV light shows no apparent sign of restoration.
