A gentleman, wearing blue coat, orange and red waistcoat, white stock and frilled chemise, his hair powdered and worn en queue

In a gilt metal frame, the obverse with band of plaited hair, the reverse glazed to reveal brown woven hair
Condition Report:
Surface dirt throughout. There is also some white mould visible to the framing edges but it should be possible to remove this with a soft brush. Some of the hair in the border (obverse) has come unstuck and out of place. The glue residue has also browned in places. This should all be visible in the online illustration. Unexamined out of glazed frame.
The mount with some light wear commensurate with age. The hair (verso) with some strands out of place. Condition Report Disclaimer
