2 Chinese Famille Rose Statues, Early Qing
Two Chinese porcelain statues of mythical figures dating from the early Qing dynasty. Both figures are glazed white with brown and red details. The first statue is Guanyin accompanied by two attendants and an infant. She sits on a stump flanked by a water vase and a dove. The second statue is of a male figure seated on a rock holding his belt in his right hand. This statue comes with a paper label reading "Accorsi Pietro Antichita Torino Via Po 55."
Dimensions are: the larger statue measures 7 inches tall X 3 1/2 inches wide, 17.8 cm X 8.9 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: The Guanyin statue has one hairline to the bottom as well as firing defects throughout. The statue of the man has a large crack to the front and a chip to the front of his robes, as well as paint wear throughout. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
