RARE PORCELAIN VASE EARLY VIEW PHILADELPHIA C. 1820. Comprising a likely old Paris porcelain vase of cylindrical form on spread foot with flared mouth, the sides banded in leaf tips and vines and military trophies between gilt framed reserves, each with hand-painted city views, one vue de la ville de Philadelphia, and the other vue pres de la ville Adria. The mouth further decorated with gilt swags suspended from bell flowers. Apparently unmarked. Height 9.75 inches (24.5 cm).
