A Chinese Dragon Martaban Jar dating to the Ming dynasty or Earlier. The body depicts dragons and birds surrounded by lingzhi and ruyi cloud motifs.
Dimensions are: 23 1/2 inches tall X 13 inches wide, 59.69 cm X 33.02 cm. All measurements are approximate.
Condition: There is a large crack to one side of the body that travels to the base and lid, and there are several firing and glaze defects.
