Chinese Sancai Statue, Late 19th Century

A Chinese sancai porcelain statue of a seated man dating from the late 19th century. The man wears a robe decorated with floral roundels, and he holds a knife over a bundle of branches. There is a 4-character mark on the bottom.

Dimensions are: 6 3/4 inches tall X 4 inches wide, 17.1 cm X 10.2 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: The man is missing a finger, and there is an area of loss to one of the branches in the bundle. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
