Together with a Karelian birch cigarette or snuff case, the lid with oval blank tortoise escutcheon and the interior lined in tortoise shell c. 1880, probably Russian. Greatest measurement 5.3 inches (13.5 cm).

Condition Report: Leather cigar holder is in overall good condition, the leather is supple and not dry, silver with some tarnish. Exterior of wood case in good condition, tortoise shell interior at lid is starting to delaminate.
