A Victorian Gothic Revival oak metamorphic library steps-chair, pierced with quatrefoils, trefoils, circles and crosses, within serrated edges and on chamfered uprights, 85cm high

Condition Report:
The majority of one rear leg is lacking, with losses to leg beside the top hinge (at seat) - evident when converted into steps, although it is stilll possible to convert to steps, it requires restoration. The top step (when converted as step) is loose and damaged and other steps are in place although they have separated and may benefit from reinforcement. Noticeable wear and some scuffing overall, particularly to edge of steps and cross stretchers. Hook is in place and functioning at one side. Would benefit from sensitive restoration.
