4 Edwardian Sterling Shakers and Open Salts
This lot contains two shakers made by Alfred and Francis Pairpoint in London dated 1914, and two open salts with cobalt liners from London dated 1902. Both shakers have hallmarks with AP and FP in the shield, on the body and retailer marks on the bottom. Dimensions are: 3 3/4 inches tall X 2 1/4 inches wide, 9.5 cm X 5.7 cm. Total weight: 356.95 grams w/o glass inserts (11.5 ozt). All measurements are approximate. Condition: All items have minor surface wear to the exterior. Both open salts have tarnishing to the interior, and one has a dent to the body. Provenance: Offered at auction on behalf of the Ashby Ponds Benevolent fund.
