Two copies, in publisher’s cloth with pictorial jackets, illustrated by G. Christopher Hudson. 8vos. The first with a full-page sketch of a demon by the illustrator, inscribed to Joseph Dunninger and bounded by a box composed of a rubber stamp of Hudson’s name; the second with a full-page portrait sketch of Hudson by Dunninger’s friend and illustrator Mahlon Blaine. Hudson was, in fact, a pseudonym used by Mahlon Blaine; these two books are, therefore, embellished with sketches by both the illustrator and his alter ego.
