A ROOKWOOD POTTERY VASE WITH RESTORATION ATTR BARRETT
The nice, large example in decoration often associated with Elizabeth Barrettt Jensen and her husband Jens Jensen, himself a prolific decorator for Rookwood. At some point, this piece was drilled through the base for lamp hardware. When the drilled opening was professionally restored, any artist's signature was obscured. The Rookwood monogram and Roman numeral date of 1923 remain visible as shown.
