In a gilt metal frame, the reverse glazed to reveal two locks of hair, and a blue enamel cartouche bordered with pearls and initialled PM
Condition Report:
Some light superficial spots of surface dirt throughout. Two small spots of over-paint to the sitter's coat (each approx. 1mm). Otherwise the work appears to be in good condition commensurate with age. Unexamined out of glazed frame.
The miniature has slipped slightly in the mount, which in turn has some light nicks and surface scratches commensurate with age. Condition Report Disclaimer
