1862 Colt Model 1851 Navy .36 Caliber Four Screw Revolver. Four screw frame cut for a shoulder stock, further denoted by the "0" stamp underneath the serial number on the frame. The barrel is stamped "Address. Col. Sam. L. Colt. New-York U.S. America". The frame is stamped "Colt's patent". Trigger guard is stamped "36 Cal". Matching serial number on the barrel, frame, and trigger guard. The butt plate has been replaced and is stamped "137006". The ramrod is stamped "2609". Steel finish. Oil-finished walnut grips. Engraved six shot cylinder. Brass frame. Slim Jim leather holster.

Condition Report: Very good. The hammer holds the "half-cock" and "full-cock" positions. The metal surfaces exhibit handling marks and light oxidation. Minor pitting is present on the cylinder and barrel. The bore is bright with good rifling but exhibits minor pitting. The grips exhibit handling wear with surface level abrasions. Mechanically very good.
