Nine Chinese Dragon Wall Tiles Framed
20th century, inspired by the Beihai park nine dragon screen in Beijing, these nine tiles have raised relief decoration of individual dragons of various colors including yellow, cobalt blue, white, and reddish aubergine in powerful energetic poses with turquoise glazed clouds behind them and their five claws over green and white waves, entire horizontal panel outlined by golden yellow glazed border, now set into a floating frame, uncovered.
Framed dimensions 8 7/8 x 67 3/4 in., Each tile spot 7 3/8 x 7 5/8 in.
