Mahogany and Mahogany Veneer Shelf Clock, Aaron Willard, Boston, Massachusetts, c. 1805-10, the stepped hood centering a plinth with eagle finial and flanking shaped finials, above a door with kidney-shaped glass opening to a conforming white-painted dial lettered "Aaron Willard./BOSTON," with eight-day brass weight-driven movement, on a case with banded lower edge above shaped skirt joining flaring French feet, ht. with finial 36 1/4 in.
