A fantastic Levantine bronze figure of a woman, c. 1500 - 1000 BC, holding a child or possibly a small animal in her arms. Her face is detailed with angular nose, large area and coifs of hair at back of head on either side. Her breasts are modeled and is a girdle around her waist. H: 4 1/2 in (11.4 cm). Nicely patinated.
