An assembled set of twelve mahogany dining chairs (and two for parts) (twelve side, two arm) comprising (6) late 18th/early 19th c. chairs, (6) later copies from the first quarter of the 20th c., and a pair of late 19th c. origin with slight design variation of an urn spray on the splat. Hepplewhite style with shield-form backs enclosing swag and urn splats. Seats are supported by frontal molded legs connecting the rear splayed legs with an H-form stretcher. With 1995 appraisal from L.A. Landry Antiques appraising set at $6.000. Dimensions: (Armchair) H 36.5" x W 22" x D 23" x SH 18" Condition Some breaks, losses, and cracks; in need of repairs. Some soiling and slight fading to upholstery. Nicks, dings, and wear to wood. Including two extra heavily damaged chairs for parts.
