A Ottoman flintlock rifle - Ottoman empire, probably made in Istanbul, 18th-19th century In Turkey, this rifle is called tüfek (just meaning rifle in Turkisk) . It is a beautiful and richly decorated example. Historically, this type of decoration was produced in Istanbul. Mechanism firm and strong. A piece of inlay mother of pearl of the butt is missing. The wood have some cracks and restoration. The whole is strong and solid. Length 135cm Length of the barrel 102cm Weight 3775gr
