A CLOISONNE ENAMEL VASE WITH BAMBOO AND BIRDS

The slender baluster body worked in silver and gold wire as well as colored enamels to depict bamboo stalks and birds against a midnight blue ground. The rims and underside applied with brass.
HEIGHT 18.5 cm
Condition: Minor surface wear and losses to enamels. One larger area where the enamel has been damaged.
