A LARGE ANDO STYLE GINBARI CLOISONE VASE
Japan, Taisho to early Showa period (1921-1945)
The baluster-shaped vase decorated with colored enamels and silver wire with a flowering rose branch on a punched red foil ground which also features a bird and bamboo stalks. The rim on the mouth and underside silver plated, the latter houses the mark MADE IN JAPAN.
HEIGHT 24 cm
Condition: Very good condition with minimal surface wear. The rims with few short scratches and minor Verdigris.
