Beautiful unique richly decorated regulator, Made in the French village of Beaucourt by Japy Frères et Cie. The regulator has a sturdy hefty cabinet, with a large weight of 8 kg. Original 19th century movement with signed dial and gong. Dated, both belong together. A gong-stroke every half hour, with a beautiful deep sound, on the side of a gong.
