Japanese Taisho Period Satsuma Yoshiyama Ceramic Vase. Tapered fluted form with two gilt-dragon handles; Mount Fuji landscape to one side, Japanese city scene opposite, in a surround of cherry blossoms and butterflies; gilt trim throughout. The underside inscribed with 'Yoshiyama' below a Shimazu family crest, gilt writing on black. Circa 1920. {Approximate dimensions: 15 high x 11 wide x 8 inches deep.}. Condition: Crazing throughout. Very light wear overall.
