Case: Large, engraved case, the back with sprung cover. Lateral sliders for split second and movement stop. Inner cover, engraved: Widenham & Adams, Inventors, Makers to the Royal Navy. Case marks for London 1825.
Dial: Exceptionally well-preserved enamel dial, signed: "Widenham & Adams, Lombard Street, London, Patent". Split second at 6h
Movement: Fine pocket watch movement with duplex escapement, large compensation balance, fusee and chain. Rattrapant mechanism on the second-axle with so-called stop pincers and a fine spiral return spring. Movement signed: Widenham & Adams, Lombard Street, London 1840
