A set of six stained and turned chairs, first half 19th century, each with bar back above a rush seat and cabriole supports Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches, abrasions consistent with age and use, Some old splits and cracks, chips and losses, These chairs appear to incorporate elm and beech elements, the surfaces have been stained darker to a more uniform colour overallThe rush seating appears intact throughout the chairs, there is no guarantee this is originalThere is variation across the chairs, probably due to be being made by different chair makers.
